{Sewing in Spring} Babydoll tank

I needed a little sun amidst the gloom of this snowy first week of spring so I whipped up this easy tank. I cut a rectangle out of a vintage sheet, gathered it and then sewed it to the top of an old dress. It is comfy and cute....perfect for sunny days in the yard!






I really need to work on sewing with knits....they drive me crazy!! This turned out ok but it puckered and pulled funny in a few places. I bought the book Sew U Home Stretch which has lots of tips and tricks...hopefully it can help me out. I'll let you know how it is!
