Outdoor Projects
Here are a few of the projects I have managed to tackle outside while the kids play.
Oh spray paint how I love you...you make painting so quick and easy ; ) I spray painted the chairs and side table. The colour combo was looking a little too "Lego Primary" so I stenciled the table with white. I was really disappointed with the spray paint colour selections in town. I have since learned from a Canadian blogger that Michaels has a good selection. We don't have one in town but it would be worth a trip to the city!
I found a white plastic planter for $2 at a garage sale and gave it a little facelift. Love the pop of colour on our front step!
I love how this tea cup bird feeder looks in the garden. Need to hunt for some more tea cups so I can make more! HERE is a tutorial on how to make one. I didn't have copper pipe so I used a bamboo stick I had on hand. I think the copper would be much stronger.
It is hot here and the Mosquitos are vicious...I was getting bitten in the grocery store yesterday. I bought a bug zapper hoping it helps so we can actually get outside and enjoy this weather!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

So cute, I have to try the teacup birdfeeder! How did you make it?
ReplyDeleteI added a link to the tutorial : )
ReplyDeleteDid you use regular spray paint on the plastic planter? I've always wondered if it would just chip off of something plastic!
